About Us:
Real Estate Buzz Box was formed in 2006. The the three co-founders started brainstorming the concept and specifics in the fall of 2005. They saw a tidal wave of change coming at the real estate industry and looked at how they could help real estate agents become more successful and ride the wave of change with advanced and easy to use technologies.

The seeds were planted and the buzz and excitement grew until they could no longer do anything but move forward and build the web based software platform. So...After thousands of hours of software development...and months of testing...RealEstateBuzzbox.com was born.

Our Founders:

Rodney Rumford
Co-Founder

Rodney has 20 years experience in Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Technology and Business Development. He has worked in management capacity for Fortune 500 companies and has started and sold several businesses.

He also founded the very first web based Audio & Video Podcasting hosting, creation and promotion site on the internet in 2004 before podcasting even had a name. He has also developed software solutions for the Pay Per Click Advertising Industry.

He is also a well know author and frequent speaker about new media technologies such as Business Blogs, Business Podcasts, Syndication and RSS Feed Marketing. Several of his web based software projects have been featured in the highly acclaimend "For Dummies" series of books as well as many magazines such as Revenue, Inc., Technology Review and Associated Press Articles.

He also happens to blog extensively about new media technologies and how these technologies are changing the way that effective marketing get's done in the real estate industry. He currently resides in Solana Beach California with his wife and duaghter.

John W. Helmering
Co-Founder

John Helmering has been a real estate entrepreneur since he graduated from the University of Missouri in 1989, when he moved to Vail, Colorado. John’s expertise and first hand real estate experience include: residential, multi-family, commercial, land, development and brokerage management.

John is a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and a Graduate, Real Estate Institute (GRI). He has served locally as an elected Director for the Vail Board of Realtors and has been entrenched in real estate technology since the public inception of the internet.

As early as 1995, John was the first to bring measurable, quantifiable satellite imagery to the National Association of Realtors Conference. Since that innovative, ten years premature work with real estate technology, John has served on several technology committees, attended leadership technology conferences throughout the country and implemented proprietary lead generation and conversion programs for his current real estate company. He is an active real estate blogger and a student of the new dawn of the internet.

John Helmering lives in Vail, Colorado with his wife and three boys. He spends most of his time staying up to date with new technology and being a father but still has time to enjoy all the Vail Valley has to offer.

Kristen Veraldi
Co-Founder

Kristen Veraldi has been at the forefront of real estate technology for nearly a decade. After leaving thoughts of an engineering future behind, she started a career in real estate marketing for a boutique company called Gateway Land and Development in Vail, Colorado. Over the last ten years she has taken Gateway to many new heights in the realm of technology - from a lead generating community website 10 years ago to one of the first functional real estate blogsites started in the industry. Gateway now competes at national levels of generated leads through a combination of IDX search technologies and the use of a Real Estate Blogsite.

Kristen has a Masters degree in Business Administration from Denver University’s Daniels College of Business and a degree in Physics from Colgate University. She has evolved and grown with technology from a very young age and is an active proponent of the new and evolving Web 2.0 and the age of free information. She is a blogger and an educator on emerging real estate technologies.

Kristen lives in Eagle-Vail, Colorado with her husband Angelo. Most of her days are spent keeping up to speed with Real Estate Blogsites, consulting for Gateway and educating as many realtors as she can about the benefits of business blogging and podcasting.
